Arnot Water Treatment Plant Simulator - November 4, 2011
Samahnzi to develop a full-scope high-fidelity Training Simulator for Eskom’s Arnot Power Station. The process model will include the full scope of the water treatment plant and auxiliaries and will be connected to the actual unit’s ABB 800xA system and an emulation of the ABB Melody AC870P Controllers that will be installed on the plant.

Majuba Power Station Simulator Upgrade - October 4, 2011
Samahnzi to upgrade both the Unit 3 and Unit 4 Training Simulators at Majuba Power Station. The Unit 3 upgrade entails a C&I upgrade to the Unit Control System on the Simulator as well as adding the Condensate Polishing Plant (CPP) and related controls to the Unit 3 Simulator. The Unit 4 upgrade entails adding the CPP process and controls to the Simulator.

Energy 24/7 Training System with Virtual Instructor - July 4, 2011
Samahnzi to develop a system for Entergy to allow around-the-clock (24/7) Simulator Training without Instructor supervision. The system will include a comprehensive automated Trainee Performance Evaluation System as well as Out-of-Bounds monitoring of variables and an intelligent, interactive Virtual Instructor. Trainees will be able to execute simulator scenarios on their own at any time of day or night while being guided and evaluated by the Virtual Instructor. Comprehensive reports will provide management with a clear overview of these unsupervised training sessions, while Out-of-Bounds monitors will ensure that no negative training takes place by locking the simulator if the trainee goes out of the allowed operating range during a session.

Eskom Continues 3D PACT roll-out and expanding integration and usage – April 4, 2011
Eskom will continue roll-out of 3D PACT and Samahnzi is fully integrating one of Eskom's New-Build Power Plants into 3D PACT to enable the full functionality of its comprehensive Training and Production Support features.

Majuba Training Simulator Upgrade Successfully completed -
March 25, 2011
Samahnzi successfully upgraded the Training Simulators at Eskom Majuba Power Station, located near Volksrust South Africa. The Unit 4 Simulator was upgraded to incorporate the latest version of the Siemens Teleperm XP unit control system as well as process changes, while the Unit 3 Simulator upgrade involved mainly process changes.

Wygen 3 Training Simulator Upgrade successfullly completed -

Samahnzi successfully upgraded the Wygen 3 Unit 5 Simulator to reflect the latest ABB Harmony and Siemens PCS7 control systems. The plant is owned by Black Hills Power and is located near Gillete, Wyoming, USA. It is a 115MW drum boiler unit with comprehensive Air Quality Control System.
